He begins the discourse on prayer by sharing and revealing; what a prayer covenant consist of-such as a commitment to a consistent time to meditate and commune with God; always remembering to make intercessions on behalf of others. The important of the  benefits of prayer is put forth; and just how one  should pray. He explains that if you expect to have an effective and productive prayer life; the proper foundation must be laid out; just as an architect does when the plans are put in place to build a residential home, or a commercial facility. He goes on to share and reveal, that once a person know how to pray; know what to ask for; in accordance to; what their needs might be; and then to express it in supplications to God-that certain request, to fulfill those needs. Which may have a direct impact on the results for the benefits that you are seeking and expecting. And that might be to know the feeling of joy; experience the gift of agape love; for the potential, possibilities, and purpose for one's life. It may be to experience the emotion of peace, and happiness, or it might be; just to know and understand the glory of God or the hope of Heaven
