This book tells you how to pray, and what prayer is all about. Sometimes you hear people pray, and you say, I cannot pray like that. You do not have to pray the way other people pray. Just talk to the Lord. He wants to hear from you. Remember that God loves you very much. No earthly human being will ever be able to love you the way that the Lord loves you. They will try, but will come short of the kind of love the Lord has for you.
Prayer to the Lord God, Creator of heaven and earth is a vital part of or should be the most important part of the Christians everyday life. It is the connection between heaven and earth and those seeking the Lord will have access to the throne room of heaven. Those who seek to have a close walk with the Lord will never be turned away. God bids everyone to come to him, because he loves and cares for you.
This world is becoming more violent each day. The devil has stepped up his attack upon this world, and is killing as many people as he can. He does not discriminate when he destroy the lives of his victims. This is why turning to the Lord, and seeking him each day is of vital importance.
Satan’s time on earth is limited; he is angry, bitter and vicious. Just take a look around you, and you will see his mark of devastation, unleashed upon the earth as he seeks to destroy the human race, which he hates.
Jesus is coming to earth soon, to take his children home to heaven with him. Prayer is the most effective weapon you have against the enemy Satan. Prayer brings you closer to the Lord who alone is worthy of your praise and worship.
Prayer is not just something you do when you get into trouble and need the Lord to help you. It is of vital importance, not just a time when you give the Lord a list of the things you need, and expect him to answer. This book seeks to help you with your prayer life and to give you an understanding of what prayer is.
